Experimental workshop | Work week | Projection drawings
In the workshop, the challenge is the experimental study of the interdependence of object and image: photographs of "everyday architecture" of the 50s and 60s of the 19th Century serve as a starting point for a number of occasions to continuous transformation. The photographs are to be transformed by means of drawing into abstract graphics. The graphics are the basis for spatial folds out of transparent paper, which serve as depth-phased, three-dimensional projection surfaces for the outgoing created architectural photos and graphics. The specific appearance of the projected images on the basis of Faltobjekten is an ongoing, mutually influencing and regenerating the transformation of the model and graphics. Object, image and drawing merge into an ambiguous light-frame body. The screen behind the objects is also included by using shadows and projected images in the room drawing process.
