ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN | Master Thesis Project | Silk Road Duisburg | Duisburg

Transformation concept and design of a vacant freight depot in the center of Duisburg.

With China planning and executing the "New Silk Road Project" that connects China via railroad with Europe - surprisingly Duisburg will be the main destination in Germany.
The project proposes a visionary energy-neutral research city as a habitable experiment for the 21st century.
